Developing Waba programs:
To develop a Waba program, you will need the WabaSDK (Software
Development Kit). The WabaSDK comes in 2 parts (part 1 and 2)
and you can download the 2 ZIP files containing the WabaSDK with
the links below:
Download WabaSDK 1.0 Part 1 of 2 (size: 190K)
Download WabaSDK 1.0 Part 2 of 2 (size: 158K)
After downloading, consult the README file contained in the distribution
for more instructions.
You can also click
here for a quick tutorial on how to write Waba programs.
Source for the Waba Virtual Machine:
To add native functions, port Waba to a new platform or just see
how the VM works internally, you can download a ZIP file containing
the source to the Waba Virtual Machine with the link below:
Download WabaVM 1.0 source (size: 162K)
Check the How-to Papers and the README
contained in the distribution for more information about how to
build the WabaVM from the source.
Testing Waba programs:
To test your Waba program on a PalmPilot, you will want to
download the PalmPilot WabaVM (from the preceding page) and
install it on your PalmPilot or emulator.
For Windows CE development, you will want to download the WabaVM for
Windows CE and install it on your Windows CE device.
You might also want a WabaVM for the Windows CE emulator that
is part of the "Windows CE Platform SDK" from Microsoft.
A WabaVM that works with the x86 Windows CE emulator is available
by clicking on the link below:
Download WabaVM 1.0 for Windows CE Emulator (size: 53K)
Installation instructions are included in the ZIP file.
